SACRAMENTO -- The Sacramento State men's tennis program announced today that Michael Kaplan has signed with the program, and will begin play this spring as a freshman for the Hornets.
Kaplan, a 6-foot-4 native of Los Angeles, comes to the Hornets from Palisades Charter High School. He will be the only newcomer on Sacramento State's veteran-laden spring roster.

• Won a handful of tournaments in under 16s and 14s play
• Took a gap year between high school and college to improve his skill level
