The Nest
Built in 1955, the Nest is one of the oldest facilities among all NCAA Div. I member institutions. With a seating capacity of 1,012, the intimate setting results in a great opportunity for fans to be close to the action from every seat in the gym. It also provides the Hornets one of the best home-court advantages in the NCAA. In 2008, the floor was named Colberg Court in honor of 32-year volleyball coach and AVCA Hall of Famer Debby Colberg who retired after the 2007 season. The coach with the most career victories in any sport at Sacramento State, Colberg posted an 828-292 record while winning two national championships. The Nest is located on the northern half of the Sacramento State campus in a building called Yosemite Hall.
EVENT PARKING
For all home games, guests may park for free on the 5th floor of Parking Structure I which is located north of the Nest one hour prior to the start of the game. Disabled parking is also available in the designated spots on Moraga Way. All other lots on campus require a daily pass which can be purchased for $8.
