Hornet Field

Hornet Soccer Field is the home of both men's and women's soccer and is located on the northwest corner of campus near the softball stadium and the intramural fields. The nearest parking lot is Lot 1.
Hornet Soccer Field became a permanent stadium in July of 2002. Located just west of Yosemite Hall, Hornet Soccer Field boasts an international size playing surface that has hosted the Women's Professional Soccer League's Sacramento Storm. In 2015 the field was used for a week as a training site for English Premiere League top-tier team Newcastle United F.C. and has also been the training site for Mexican professional teams.
Hornet Field received a new scoreboard for the 2014 season:
• 16 feet wide x 12 feet tall.
• 22 feet tall from the ground
• Scoreboard is LED digits with digital team names.
• Total shots for both teams stat line on the scoreboard for the fans.

EVENT PARKING
For weekday games that begin before 2:30 p.m., guests may park in Lot 10 which is located south of the football stadium. Disabled parking is also available in the designated spots on Moraga Way. All other lots on campus require a daily pass which can be purchased for $6.
For weekday games that begin after 2:30 p.m. and weekend games, guests may park in Lot 1 which is located north of the Hornet Soccer Field. The lot is open 1.5 hours before the game and 1 hour after the game has ended. Disabled parking is also available in the designated spots on Moraga Way. All other lots on campus require a daily pass which can be purchased for $6.

DIRECTIONS
- From the south entrance (Highway 50),continue on State University Drive South past the stadium. Follow the road around campus to Lot 1. Turn right at the stop sign. The soccer stadium is located west of Yosemite Hall along State University Drive.
- From the north entrance (J Street), stay to the right as you drive on campus. Follow the road as it veers right to State University Drive North. Turn left at the first stop sign and park in Lot 1. The soccer stadium is located west of Yosemite Hall along State University Drive.
