HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years for coach Eddie Ashworth, his father, at Okanogan HS...Four time all-Caribou Trail League first team selection...Was also named Caribou Trail League MVP and made the all-state baseball team as a senior...Hit .479 with 10 RBIs and 18 runs scored during senior season...Totaled a .603 on-base percentage and a .729 slugging percentage for a 1.332 OPS...Also pitched and was 2-2 with a 2.26 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 21.2 innings...Played four seasons of club baseball for the Club Spokane Dodgers...Also played football and basketball in high school and helped football team win two state championships as the starting quarterback...Was a two-time all-league football selection and was named all-state, league MVP, and the Washington 2B Player of the Year as a senior.

PERSONAL: Parents are Eddie and April Ashworth...Father, Eddie, played football at Central Washington University...Enjoys fly fishing and the outdoors...Majoring in environmental studies.
