Sacramento State Student-Athlete of the Week, Sept. 10-16

Immanuel Anderson was selected as the Sacramento State Student-Athlete of the Week following his performance in the team's 28-25 win at Northern Colorado. The senior led the Hornets with 11 total tackles, including a pair for loss, and recovered a fumble. Anderson also showed his versatility as he was pressed into action at defensive end during the second half as injuried riddled the Sacramento State front.

A native of Vallejo, Calif., Anderson currently ranks ninth in school history with 257 career tackles. This season he ranks second on the team with 19 total stops as well as 2.5 tackles-for-loss. He earned all-Big Sky honors a year ago and was selected as one of the four team captains prior to the start of the 2018 season.
