MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TRAVELS SOUTH FOR PAC-12 PREVIEW

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State men's cross country team will have its biggest test of the young season when it competes at the Pac-12 Preview on Friday. The meet, which is being hosted by UCLA, will take place at Robinson's Ranch Golf Course in Santa Clarita, Calif.

The Hornets are undefeated in their two meets, winning at the Aggie Open and the Hornet Jamboree. The Pac-12 Preview will provide a different challenge as the field for the men's race will include 18th-ranked Northern Arizona, 27th-ranked UCLA, UC Davis, Cal Poly, Long Beach State, Clemson and Arizona State.

Junior Reesey Byers has led the team in both meets this season, finishing second at Davis before winning the Jamboree. Junior Nathanael Litwiller, senior Chris Romo and sophomore Dominic D'Acquisto have also been solid contributors during the season. Others expected to compete at UCLA include Kyle Lackner, Daniel Mitchell, Zach Kaylor and Mac Harvey. Junior Cole Younger and senior Mark Frazier will also be making their debuts after recovering from injuries.
