Received a medical hardship after missing the entire season with injury…will enter 2019 as a freshman.

High School
A 2018 graduate of Hamilton High School in Chandler, Ariz…played her senior season at Hamilton…played her freshman and sophomore seasons of high school volleyball at Campo Verde High School in Gilbert, Ariz…did not play during her junior season because of high school transfer rules…during her senior year, Smith helped Hamilton to a 25-16 overall record, a No. 8 ranking in the state, and a quarterfinal appearance at the state tournament…in 91 sets, she averaged 1.2 kills, 4.6 assists, 2.3 digs and 0.4 blocks to go along with a .292 hitting percentage…finished with 421 assists, 208 digs and 110 kills…at Campo Verde High School, during her freshman and sophomore seasons, she totalled 180 sets, 731 assists, 82 aces, 122 digs and 94 kills…averaged 4.1 assists per set during those two seasons.

Personal
A health science major…daughter of Robb and Lisa Smith…played for the Aspire Volleyball Club in Tempe, Ariz…helped the team to numerous first place finishes, including the Arizona Regional Championships and Arizona National Qualifier…helped the team to a fifth place finish in the open division at the USA Volleyball Girls Nationals…many of her teammates from club signed to play volleyball at Div. I institutions.
