  • WOMEN’S TENNIS WRAPS FALL SEASON WITH STANFORD ITA REGIONAL

    PALO ALTO, Calif. - The Sacramento State women’s tennis team traveled to the Bay Area this past weekend for the ITA Northwest Regional Tournament at Stanford University. All seven of the team’s players took to the courts, winning a combined 12 matches over the course of the tournament and six of seven winning at least one match.
  • WOMEN’S TENNIS ENDS ON HIGH NOTE IN SAINT MARY’S INVITATIONAL

    MORAGA, Calif. - The Sacramento State women’s tennis team continued their fall play with another weekend tournament, this time playing Friday through Sunday at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California. Six of the team’s seven players took to the courts as the Hornets won a combined 12 matches over the three-day event, including four on the tournament’s final day.
  • STRONG SHOWING BY WOMEN’S TENNIS IN FIRST FALL TOURNAMENT

    BERKELEY, Calif. - This past weekend, the Sacramento State women's tennis team opened its 2017-2018 season with the Cal Invitational. The tournament ran Friday through Sunday and six of seven Sacramento State players won at least one match, including a weekend-best three matches in singles play by sophomore Sofia Gulnova and senior Ana Loaiza Esquivias. Overall, junior Sofia Wicker won five matches over the weekend - two in singles play and three in doubles - to lead the team. 
  • HOLLANDER NAMED ASSISTANT WOMEN’S TENNIS COACH

    SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento State head women’s tennis coach Cami Hubbs announced today that Taylor Hollander will be joining the program as assistant coach. Both Hubbs and Hollander are new to the Hornets as Hubbs was named head coach on Aug. 11.
