CEDAR CITY, Utah — The Sacramento State women's tennis team ran its Big Sky Conference winning streak to an unprecedented 95 consecutive matches with a 6-1 win over Southern Utah on Thursday at the Thunderbird Tennis Courts.

The Hornets (3-7, 3-0 Big Sky) swept doubles and were about to sweep singles before Sophie Lohscheidt withdrew at No. 3 due to an injury. Through three conference matches this year, Sacramento State has won by a combined score of 18-3.

Rebeca Delgado dominated Southern Utah's Veronika Rogova, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 1 singles while three other Hornets - freshman Jennifer Nguyen at No. 2, freshman Olivia Boija at No. 4 and sophomore Andrea Gomez Carus at No. 6 - won in straight sets.

Sacramento State will look to continue its ridiculous conference winning streak with a Big Sky doubleheader tomorrow at Weber State and Idaho State. The Hornets have won 11 straight Big Sky regular season and tournament titles.
