Bryan Oliver begins his second year with the Sacramento State women's soccer team as a volunteer assistant coach, working primarily with the Hornet goalkeepers.
Oliver graduated from Sacramento State with a degree in business administration in May 2013 after a standout career as a goalkeeper for the Sacramento State men's soccer team. He broke the program record for career shutouts (16) while graduating second all-time in career saves (238) and goals against average (1.19). He also set the single-season record with a 0.87 goals against average as a freshman in 2008 and has named all-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) honorable mention in 2009.
Oliver was the starting goalkeeper on the 2009 Hornet squad that won its first of two consecutive MPSF titles and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, defeating Santa Clara before falling to UCLA with Oliver making three saves in each contest.
In addition to his work with the Hornets, Oliver also serves as a goalkeepers coach for the Cap FC United club team in Sacramento.
