Fesili recorded back-to-back shutouts with eight saves in 200 minutes of action to help guide Sacramento State to a 1-0-1 record at the Rainbow Wahine Soccer Invitational in Hawaii.
In the tournament opener against host Hawaii, the Honolulu native grabbed five saves in 110 minutes in Saturday's scoreless draw. She posted her second clean sheet of the week in a 1-0 shutout of Nevada on Monday with three saves to her stat line.
Fesili played in front of friends and family at home for the first time in a Hornets uniform. Sacramento State's last trip to the islands came in 2016, a year before Fesili joined the squad.
The defensive player of the week honor is the second of Fesili's career, first collecting accolades on Sept. 26, 2017.
