    Freshman Jordyn Brent finished first on bars with a 9.800 to highlight the night for the Sacramento State gymnastics team against Washington on Friday at The Nest. The Hornets finished the evening with a total of 191.500 while the 15th-ranked Huskies totaled 195.350.

    Another battle against a nationally-ranked opponent looms for the Sacramento State gymnastics team. Just four days after taking on 11th-ranked Cal and 18th-ranked Stanford at the NorCal Classic, the Hornets will welcome No. 18 Washington to The Nest on Friday, Jan. 12.
  • JUAREZ LEADS GYMNASTICS AT NORCAL CLASSIC

    The Sacramento State gymnastics team opened its season with strong performances on beam and floor but counted falls on vault and bars en route to a fifth-place finish at the NorCal Classic on Monday at Stanford. The Hornets scored 192.875 but were unable to catch the rest of the field. Cal, which is ranked 11th in the preseason poll, won the NorCal Classic for the second consecutive year with a 195.475. Host and 18th-ranked Stanford was second at 194.925. San Jose State (194.475) and UC Davis (194.400) finished third and fourth, respectively.
  • GYMNASTICS STARTS SEASON AT NORCAL CLASSIC ON MONDAY

    The Sacramento State gymnastics team will open its 2018 season at the NorCal Classic on Monday, Jan. 8, at 6 p.m. The meet will take place at Maples Pavilion on the campus of Stanford. Along with the Cardinal and the Hornets, the meet will include Cal, San Jose State and UC Davis.
  • GYMNASTICS MAKES DEBUT AT FLIPFEST ON FRIDAY NIGHT

    The Sacramento State gymnastics team will hold its first public event on Friday, Dec. 8, with its annual FlipFest. The intrasquad meet will begin at 7 p.m. in the Hornets Nest and is free to the public.
  • GYMNASTICS UNVEILS RECRUITING CLASS, SIGNS THREE TO NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT

    Sacramento State gymnastics head coach Randy Solorio announced today the singing of Karissa Hoffman, Amber Koeth and Destiny Watley to National Letters of Intent. All three gymnasts will enroll at the University in the fall of 2018 as freshmen.
