INAUGURAL NIGHT IN THE NEST, HOSTED BY WOMEN’S BASKETBALL, SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, NOV. 8

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Sacramento State Women's Basketball team is excited to host its first ever Night in the Nest season tip off dinner. The dinner will serve as an introduction to Team 54 and is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. in the Nest at Sacramento State. 

The Night in the Nest dinner represents the opening tip for the 2018-19 women's basketball season before their first game on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Guests will have an opportunity to meet Team 54, including nine returning players and eight newcomers. The 2018-19 women's basketball team is the 54th in program history, and as such, has built a motivating identity around Team 54.

Additionally, fans, friends, and family will get to see the offseason renovations made to the Nest up close before the start of the season.

Courtside dinner will be provided and guests will have an opportunity to sit with coaches and players. Hear from senior guard Raegen Rohn, as well as other members of the program, and enjoy video featurettes on some of your favorite players, new and returning.

The 2018-19 women's basketball season begins with a preseason exhibition game against William Jessup in the Nest on Monday, Nov. 5 at 7:05 p.m.

The regular season opens on Sunday, Nov. 11 when the Hornets host the Cal Poly Mustangs in the Nest at 7:05 p.m.

Sacramento State's full 2018-19 schedule is available online and includes five non-conference home games, including one against the defending Big 10 champion Ohio State Buckeyes and the Causeway rivalry game against UC Davis. Tickets for all games are available now
