WOMEN’S HOOPS SIGNS THREE TO NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Following the Sacramento State women's basketball team's trip to Puerto Rico, women's basketball head coach Bunky Harkleroad announced three new additions to the women's basketball program from the early signing period.

"We're really excited about this trio of young players," Harkleroad said. "They each bring a unique style of play, but they're going to fit in with what we do. Just as important, they're all passionate about playing basketball and about playing basketball at Sacramento State."

The group indeed does bring three unique styles of play to the Hornets. Sarah Abney (Las Cruces, NM/Las Cruces HS) is a 5-8 guard with a strong outside shooting ability, Milee Enger (Herriman, Utah/Herriman HS) is a quick 5-7 point guard, and Summer Menke (Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral HS) is a strong 5-10 guard who can play both inside and out.

"All three of these young ladies are excited to be Hornets and we're excited to have them," added Harkleroad. "With their enthusiasm and their individual skill sets, we really believe that this is a great fit for both sides."
