2019 Beach Season
One of just four Hornets to play in all 21 matches…primarily played at No. 2 in the team’s lineup (16 times), but also played four times at No. 1 and once at No. 3…played in 17 matches with teammate Ashtin Olin…the tandem of Takeda/Olin won matches against UC Davis (twice), CSU Bakersfield, Cal State Northridge and Pacific…of Takeda’s 21 matches, seven came against nationally ranked opponents.

2018 Beach Season
Appeared in all 21 of the team’s matches where she played at either No. 3 (1-4) or No. 4 (6-10) in the lineup…played with four different doubles partners, primarily with Macey Hayden…posted a 6-7 record with Hayden, 1-1 with Lana Brown, 0-5 with Sarah Falk and 0-1 with Brie Gathright…Taked/Hayden played the final 13 matches of the season together…they played at No. 4 in the team’s lineup during both matches of the Big West Tournament, including a 15-21, 21-17, 15-13 victory against CSU Bakersfield…the pair won three straight from April 7-11…also beat teams from Boise State and CSUN…a Big West all-academic selection.

2017 Beach Season

Posted a 4-7 record, including 0-1 at No. 3, 3-6 at No. 4, and 1-0 at No. 5…six of those matches came with Brie Gathright (3-3), and five came with Lana Brown (1-4)…played each of the Hornets’ first eight matches of the season…won three straight matches with Gathright to begin the year over doubles teams from Santa Clara, San Francisco and San Jose State…other win came during her final match of the season on April 15 against San Francisco, a 21-10, 21-17 victory at No. 4 with Lana Brown.

2016 Beach Season
Went 1-4 during the beach season, playing four matches with Kennedy Kurtz and once with Brie Gathright…went 1-3 with Kurtz with the lone win coming at No. 5 over a pair from Feather River College (21-8, 21-12).

High School
A 2015 graduate of Vacaville High School…competed at least three varsity seasons in four different sports…that includes four years of basketball and track and field, and three years of volleyball and soccer…spent her freshman season with the volleyball team on the JV squad before competing varsity the final three years…received all-league accolades on three occasions in volleyball, basketball and soccer…also qualified for the section championships in discuss all four years…in volleyball, she was first team all-Monticello Empire League selection, team captain and team MVP during both her junior and senior seasons…as a sophomore, she was named honorable mention all-league…finished her three-year varsity career with 475 kills, 870 digs and 148 aces in 231 sets played…that breaks down to averages of 2.06 kills, 3.77 digs and 0.64 aces per set…set the Vacaville High School single-match record with 33 digs during her senior year…recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award for maintaining a 3.5 grade point average or higher.

Personal
Parents are Larry and Brenda Takeda…a kinesiology major who graduated from Sacramento State in May of 2019…played three years of club volleyball for Five Starz in Davis for former Sacramento State head coach and AVCA Hall of Famer Debby Colberg…played on the 2014 Five Starz team with Hornet teammate Brie Gathright…sisters, Brandy and Amber, both played softball for Graceland University in Iowa.
