2014 Sand Season
Did not play during the sand season while recovering from a knee injury.
2013 Indoor Season
Did not play while recovering from a severe knee injury she suffered during the 2012 season.
2012 Indoor Season
Appeared in 12 matches, including 39 sets as a rightside hitter…posted averages of 1.26 kills and 0.54 blocks per set…injured her knee on Oct. 12 at Montana, and missed the final 12 matches of the season with the injury…in her Hornet debut at Fresno State, she posted eight kills, a .438 hitting percentage, three digs and three blocks…named to the all-tournament team at the Fresno State Volleyball Classic…posted a season-best nine kills to go with a .261 hitting percentage in a home win against Eastern Washington…season high of five blocks came at home against Portland State…accounted for 9.5 points against Fresno State and Eastern Washington, and 8.0 points against Eastern Washington.
Prior to Sacramento State
Spent her freshman season (2011) at New Mexico State where she appeared in 16 matches, and 22 sets, for an Aggies squad that went 23-10 overall and 10-4 in the Western Athletic Conference…posted averages of 0.50 kills and 0.14 digs per set, and had just one reception error all season.
A 2011 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, Calif…a three-sport athlete, she played volleyball, softball and basketball for the Vikings…played three years of varsity volleyball…she was a first team all-league and all-section choice as well as team MVP during her junior and senior seasons after helping the volleyball squad to league and section titles both years…those teams combined for a 74-15 overall record and 26-1 league mark…as a senior (2010), she finished first in the state with 684 kills, and third in the state with an average of 6.3 kills per set…also had 57 aces and 362 digs (3.4 digs per set) while hitting .389 that year…averaged 5.1 kills and 2.8 digs per set as a junior…in addition, she was an all-league and all-section selection with both the basketball and softball teams during her senior year…was also a third team all-state selection in softball in 2011.
Parents are Kevin and Marv Mansfield…a biology major…played club volleyball for Redding’s Shasta Creations, the same club that produced former Sacramento State standouts Lindsay Haupt, Jennifer Ferguson and Desiree Hoyum.
