AARON BEVERLY NAMED BIG SKY MEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK

OGDEN, Utah — Sacramento State senior Aaron Beverly was named the Big Sky Conference Men's Golfer of the Week following his performance at the PRO Compression Invitational. The honor is the fourth for Beverly this season and the eighth of his career.

Beverly completed the tournament in second place after shooting 66-70-72-208. His 54-hole total is tied for the sixth best in school history and marks the sixth time he's shot 208 or better during his career. The senior has now finished among the top five six times since the start of last season.

In his three rounds at the tournament, Beverly had 15 birdies and 29 pars over his 54 holes. He is currently averaging 70.20 in five tournaments which would easily surpass his own school record of 71.83 from last year.

The Hornets will have a couple of weeks away from competition before hosting the Sacramento State Invitational on March 6-7 at Valley Hi Country Club.
