Beverly was 3-over through the first four holes but earned two back after an eagle on the par-5 ninth. On the back nine, he had a birdie on the par-4 12th, five pars and two bogeys.
Like Beverly, Swanson was 3-over through four before birdying the par-4 sixth. A birdie on the par-5 ninth left him at 1-over at the midway point of his round. He dropped to even after birdying the par-4 10th but a double bogey on the following hole moved him to 2-over. He closed out with two birdies, a par and three bogeys.
Weir was 1-under at the turn with birdies on Nos. 6 and 9. However, he triple bogeyed the par-4 10th and bogeyed the par-3 11th. Consecutive birdies were followed by a double bogey before he parred his final four holes.
Williams bogeyed the third and birdied the fourth to stay even through four holes. A bogey and double bogey took him to 3-over before he birdied No. 9. On the back, he parred his first three holes before a birdie on the par-5 13th. Following a par, he had a double bogey and bogey on Nos. 15 and 16. He ended with a birdie on the par-5 18th.
Owen Taylor shot 78 to complete the lineup. Taylor's round was comprised of three birdies, eight pars, five bogeys and two double bogeys.
