MEN’S BASKETBALL ADDS HOME GAME ON THURSDAY, DEC. 13

SACRAMENTO -- The Sacramento State men's basketball program has added a home game to its schedule, and will take place on Thursday, Dec. 13, against Westcliff University at 7:05 p.m. inside the Nest.

The addition to the schedule occurred because the Hornets had a game earlier this season against Cal Poly postponed because of poor Sacramento air quality related to the Camp Fire. Sacramento State and Cal Poly were not able to find a date that worked for both teams to reschedule this season. Instead, the two teams will play at the Nest next year.

Westcliff is a second-year NAIA program from Irvine, Calif., that plays in the Big 6 Conference. The Warriors have already played 11 times this season, including a game at Loyola Marymount on Nov. 6.

Sacramento State (4-1), which is tied for its best five-game start in program history (1948-pres.), is coming off an 88-68 road win at Cal State Northridge. The Hornets' next game is this Saturday at Portland. Tip is 7:05 p.m.
