MEN’S BASKETBALL’S SIXTH-ANNUAL ALUMNI GAMES TAKE PLACE SATURDAY

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento State men's basketball program will host its sixth-annual Alumni Games on Saturday, Feb. 1, beginning at 2 p.m. inside The Nest. The current Hornet squad will take on Weber State that evening at 7 p.m.

Members of the 1980's and earlier team will take on players from the 1990's at 2 p.m., followed by players from the 2000-07 era facing off with players that played from 2007-13 at 3 p.m.

Admission to the alumni games is free to all spectators.

In last year's games, the 2000-06 squad defeated the 2006-12 team by a 98-95 score, highlighted by the game's MVP Joel Jones tallying 35 points and 12 rebounds. In addition, the 1990s squad came away with a 73-68 victory over players from the 1980s. In that game, Tad Hoogenbosch led the way with 24 points and 14 rebounds.
