WHITEOUT PLANNED FOR THURSDAY NIGHT'S MEN’S BASKETBALL GAME

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Fans and students are encouraged to wear white to Thursday night's men's basketball game against Weber State. In addition, a limited supply of free whiteout t-shirts and rally towels will be given away to fans and students. Tip-off at the Nest is 7:05 p.m.

With just four games remaining in the regular season, Thursday night's game is a big one for both Sacramento State (13-12, 7-9) and Weber State (20-5, 14-2). The Hornets are currently in a three-way tie for fifth place in the Big Sky standings, and just 1.5 games out of third place. The top seven teams in the 11-member league qualify for the Big Sky Tournament.

Meanwhile, Weber State sits just one game behind first-place Montana (15-1) in the conference standings. The Hornets and Wildcats met earlier this season in Ogden, and Sacramento State trailed by two points with three minutes to play before eventually falling.

Sacramento State has established a nice homecourt advantage, posting a 9-3 record at the Nest this year, which includes a pair of one-point losses.

The Hornets have just two home games left on the schedule, including Saturday night against Idaho State at 7:05 p.m.
