FOOTBALL RANKED EIGHTH IN THIS WEEK'S FCS MEDIA AND COACHES POLLS

STATS FCS Media Poll

AFCA Coaches Poll

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State football team is ranked eighth in both the STATS FCS media poll and the AFCA FCS coaches poll. This week marks the fourth consecutive week that the team has been voted into the top 25 and the third straight in the top10.

Sacramento State dropped to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in the Big Sky Conference after a 36-17 home loss to No. 3 Weber State last Saturday. The loss snapped the team's four-game win streak and moved the Hornets into a tie for second place in the Big Sky along with Montana.

Among the four Big Sky teams currently ranked, Sacramento State is third behind No. 3 Weber State and No. 6 Montana and ahead of No. 12 Montana State. UC Davis is the only other Big Sky team currently receiving votes.

The Hornets will play at Northern Arizona on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. PT.
