NFL Players

DeAndre Carter (WR, Houston Texans)


Carter was incorporated back into the Houston offense, playing 47 snaps, in a 27-24 win over Oakland. He was targeted three times and had a 46-yard reception on his lone catch. Carter also had a 22-yard kick return and averaged 8.0 yards per punt return with a long of 14 yards.

The Texans improved to 5-3 with the win and will travel to London to take on Jacksonville on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 6:30 a.m. PT.

Todd Davis (LB, Denver Broncos)


Davis tied for the team lead in tackles for the third consecutive week. The linebacker had six solo stops, including a tackle-for-loss, in Denver's 15-13 loss at Indianapolis.Despite missing all of the preseason and the first two weeks of the season, Davis is second on the team with 43 total tackles this year.

The Broncos host Cleveland on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 1:25 p.m. PT.

CFL Players

McLeod Bethel-Thompson (QB, Toronto Argonauts)

Bethel-Thompson had another strong showing in a 39-9 win over Ottowa. He completed 15-of-22 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Toronto, however, continued to rotate quarterbacks as former Montana State product Dakota Prukop and Michael O'Connor also saw action.

The Argonauts play at Hamilton on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 4 p.m. PT in their final game of the season.

Brandon Smith  (DB, Calgary Stampeders)
Smith led Calgary with nine tackles in a tough loss to Winnipeg. The Blue Bombers scored two fourth quarter touchdowns and kicked a field goal as time expired for a 29-28 win.

Calgary plays its regular season finale at B.C. on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. PT. The team will advance to the CFL West playoffs the following week.
