DeAndre Carter (WR, Houston Texans)
Carter led Houston with 40 receiving yards and tied for the team high with three receptions on only three targets in the team's 30-23 win over Detroit. He also had one kickoff return for 24 yards and an 8-yard punt return.
The Texans play at Dallas on Saturday, Aug, 24, during Week 3 of the preseason. The game will be televised on the NFL Network.
Darnell Sankey (LB, New Orleans Saints)
Sankey tied for the team high with six total tackles in the Saints' 19-17 at the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Sankey finished the game with three solo and three assisted stops.
New Orleans will next play at the New York Jets on Aug. 24.
Todd Davis (LB, Denver Broncos)
Davis remains sidelined with a calf injury and did not play in Denver's game against San Francisco on Monday night.
The Broncos continue the preseason on Aug. 24 at the Los Angeles Rams.
McLeod Bethel-Thompson (QB, Toronto Argonauts)
Bethel-Thompson has taken over as the starting quarterback in Toronto during the team's first season following the retirement of fellow Hornet Ricky Ray. This past week, he completed 19-of-26 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns without an interception in a 41-26 loss to Edmonton.

Brandon Smith (DB, Calgary Stampeders)
Smith tallied five stops in Calgary's 40-34 overtime loss to Montreal. The 12-year veteran now has 589 tackles during his career. The five stops were his most in a game this season.
The Stampeders welcome Edmonton on Monday, Sept. 2, in Week 12.
