2013 Season: Played in two games as a reserve quarterback and holder…rushed for eight yards on one carry against Montana…did not attempt a pass all season.
Prior to Sacramento State: Spent two seasons at Fresno State…appeared in two games during the 2012 season...first appearance was Sept. 15 against Colorado where he carried the ball for six yards against the Buffaloes...also played on Nov. 3 against Hawai'i…redshirted during the 2011 season.
High School: A 2010 graduate of St. Mary's HS in Stockton, Calif.…signed with Fresno State in 2010, but elected to attend Hargrave Academy prep school, (where he saw interest from Miami (Fla.) and West Virginia)…threw for 2,435 passing yards, averaging 202.9 per game...rated by one service as the 26th-best player in California…connected on well over half his passes, maintaining a 58.3 completion percentage…threw 31 touchdown passes with only two interceptions…boasted a 128 quarterback rating his senior year…showed evasive mobility, adding 228 rushing yards along with five rushing touchdowns…AMP recruiting ranked him among the top five in the country in quarterback arm strength…named first team all-Tri-City Athletic League Football Team…was outstanding Offensive Player of the Year…was a high school teammate of current Hornet receiver Justin Cox.
