FOOTBALL PICKED SIXTH BY BIG SKY MEDIA AND COACHES

PARK CITY, Utah —The Sacrameno State football team was tabbed to finish sixth in the Big Sky Conference preseason poll by both the coaches and media, it was announced on Monday at the Big Sky Kickoff.

The two polls were nearly identical with 12 of the 13 spots matching between the two groups. Montana State was the overwhelming favorite in both polls. The Bobcats garnered 31 of the 48 first-place votes from the media and eight of the 13 from the coaches. Those totals gave MSU 596 points in the media poll and 140 in the coaches poll.

Eastern Washington, Montana, Cal Poly and Northern Arizona complete the top five. EWU collected 12 first-place votes and 566 points from the media and 130 points, including three first-place votes, from the coaches.
