SOPHOMORE (2019): Played in all 65 of Sacramento State's 2019 games, starting all 65 of them...Was one of just three players to start all 65 games...Split time time between both shortsop (39 starts) and second base (26 starts)...Hit .237 witth 14 doubles, a triple, 38 runs scored, and 21 runs driven in...His 14 doubles were a career high the most on the team in 2019...Also led the 2019 squad and the Western Athletic Conference with 50 walks drawn on the season...Averaged just under a walk per game and drew a program record five walks (0-0, five walks) in a May 5 win at Northern Colorado...In WAC-only paly, Torres hit .272with 21 walks in 27 games...Also hit nine of his 14 doubles in league play...Had 12 multi-hit games on the season, third most on the team...Four of those were three-hit games...Put together a 13-game hit streak, the team's second longest of the season, from April 12 through May 3...Hit .370 during the streak with nine runs scored and seven RBIs...Had a 19-game reached base streak, third longest on the club...Defensively, posted a .954 fielding percentage, committing 12 errors 260 chances...Had a team-leading 151 assists to go with 97 putouts...Was involved in 29 total double-plays, including a number of excellent double-plays in the WAC Tournament. 

FRESHMAN (2018): Second Team All-WAC...Played in 59 of the team's 60 games with 58 starts...Made 29 starts at shortstop, 22 starts at second base, and two starts at third base...The Hornets went 20-9 when Torres started at short...Hit .268 with four home runs, 22 RBIs, and 34 runs scored...Posted a .395 on base percentage, the second highest mark on the team...Drew 32 walks and was hit by a pitch a team-high 11 times...Was even better in conference play, hitting .311 with three home runs, 13 RBIs, 17 runs scored, and a .469 on base percentage...Was excellent in the WAC Tournament, hitting .285 (8-for-28) with five runs scored, six RBIs, and a home run...Had 17 multi-hit games, tied for the second most on the team...Had a season-best 10 game hitting streak, tied for the second longest on the team...Hit .400 (14-for-35) with five RBIs and six runs scored during his streak...Had a season-best 15 game reached base streak, tied for the fourth-longest on the club...Had a career-high thre RBIs against Utah Valley on May 19, going 2-for-4 with a home run...Had six sacrifice bunts, second most on the team.
