Schedule Change Due to incoming rain late Tuesday night, Sacramento State and San Jose State have moved Tuesday's game up to a 5pm PT first pitch (originally 7 pm PT).

Sacramento State swept the visiting Rider Broncs in a three-game weekend set last Friday through Sunday. The Hornets came from behind on Friday, winning 5-4, before rolling to 6-3 and 7-0 wins Saturday and Sunday. 

The Hornets had their best hitting series of the season so far, batting .307 with a .394 OBP over the three games. Keith Torres hit a team-high .400 while Bronson Grubbs collected a weekend-best four RBIs. Travis Adams picked up his first career win with six innings of one-run ball on Saturday while Scott Randall was brilliant on Sunday, throwing eight shutout innings and allowing just two hits.   

Going Streaking

Sacramento State has won eight straight games, its longest streak of the season and longest since winning eight straight from May 14 - 27 at the end of the 2017 season. The Hornets also won eight straight in 2015 (5/1-5/14). Under head coach Reggie Christiansen, Sacramento State's longest win streak is 12, a feat they achieved from March 18 through April 6 of the 2014 season. 

During the team's current eight-game win streak, the Hornets are batting .274 and averaging better than seven runs per game.
