WINTER SPORTS COMBINES FOR 19 BIG SKY ALL-ACADEMIC SELECTIONS

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Big Sky Conference named 19 Sacramento State student-athletes to the winter all-academic team. The 19 recipients came from the women’s basketball, women’s indoor track and field, and the men’s indoor track and field programs.

The honor is given to student-athletes who have participated in at least half of the team’s competitions, achieved at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and have previously completed at least one academic term at a Big Sky institution.

Highlighting the list were eight student-athletes that have earned the award multiple times during their careers. That includes four-time selections Mallorie Franco (wbb), Kylie Kuhns (wbb) and Natasha Torgerson (wbb), three-time selections Veronica Stinnett (wt&f), Sadie Clements (wbb) and Alle Moreno (wbb), and two-time selections Zarria McKearney (wt&f) and Oleg Ryabokorovka (mt&f).

The names of all 19 student-athletes are listed below along with their class and major.
